All Home or Office Contents
We take a full photographic inventory of all movable items and pack them for transport to our 40,000 sq. ft. dry cleaning and storage facility. There, we complete a detailed digital inventory, thoroughly sort and clean your items, and store them until you are ready for their return. This typically takes 2-3 weeks.
Soft Furnishings, Textiles, and Clothing
We begin by setting aside an “Emergency Order” of essentials that will last every household member 2-3 weeks. These items are immediately taken to our facility for thorough cleaning and returned to you within 48 hours. Next, our team takes a full photographic inventory and packs the remaining items for transport to our facility for cleaning and storage until you are ready.
Electronics and Equipment
We bring the same standards of excellence to getting devices up and running as we do to servicing soft goods. Successful restoration of damaged electronic equipment and machinery requires a quick response. Electronics are removed, cleaned, tested, and re-installed quickly and efficiently. When possible, we perform full data recovery. We provide comprehensive reports for speedy claims settlement.
Artwork and Memorabilia
Family photographs, collectibles, textile art, paintings, murals, antique dolls, and antique furnishings all need the expertise of professionals trained in art restoration. Restoration Cleaners’ conservators perform a detailed evaluation of the condition of your keepsakes. They then produce a condition report and treatment plan that will apply the latest conservation techniques to your most irreplaceable possessions.
Specialty Items
Our expertise encompasses specialty items such as wine cellars, taxidermy, and firearms. As with artwork in all media, these objects require specialized, state-of-the art conservation techniques. Restoration Cleaners’ highly trained experts evaluate the condition of all special objects and provide a detailed status report and treatment plan that you approve before they begin any restorative process.
The Details
A Restoration Cleaners Project Manager will arrive onsite within 2 hours of hearing from your insurance adjuster or contractor.
1. Walk-Through
The Restoration Cleaners Project Manager performs a detailed walk-through of the disaster loss area with you to ensure we collect the correct items for restoration. At that time, they will let you know which items can be successfully restored to pre-loss conditions, and which cannot. Restoration Cleaners will do our best to clean and restore your sentimental items, no matter how damaged.
2. Emergency Order
Your selection of essentials will be taken that day to our facility for immediate processing and cleaning to provide you and your family with 2-3 weeks’ worth of everyday clothing, shoes, nightwear, bedding, sentimental items, and specialty clothing and footwear (for dressy events or vacations). Your Restoration Cleaners Project Manager will schedule an Emergency Item Delivery within 24–48 hours.
3. Photo Inventory
We perform detailed photo documentation and an itemized digital account of all damaged items collected onsite. A copy of this inventory is for you or your insurance adjuster, and a copy is for Restoration Cleaners.
4. Packing and Transportation
We bag and pack all distressed items, and transport them to our 40,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled, secure facility.
5. Detailed Inventory
At our facility, we create a detailed inventory of all items and the evidence of damage, and assess what kinds of cleaning technologies are most appropriate for each.
6. Cleaning and Restoration
Using our state-of-the art equipment for ultrasonic cleaning, ozone-injection washing, steam drying, steam finishing, ultrasonic cleaning, freeze-drying, and HEPA vacuuming and dehumidification. We make every effort to bring your cherished items back to pre-loss conditions.
7. Delivery of Restored Goods
Typically, 2-3 weeks after we receive your items, they are ready to be returned to you. You will hear from us 12–24 hours prior delivery for confirmation of date, time, and address. You will receive your items and a final, itemized inventory.
Please note that artwork and specialty items may require a longer treatment period than standard home and business contents.
8. 20-Day Examination
Upon receipt of your belongings, you have 20 days to examine them closely and determine whether they have been cleaned and restored to your satisfaction.
9. Communication
Your Restoration Cleaners Project Manager will communicate regularly with you and your claims adjuster throughout the process, so you always know what is going on with your belongings.
