Textile & Electronics Information

We are specialists in the restoration of clothing and household fabric items that have been distressed by fire, smoke, water, or mold. These items may include your everyday clothing items, bed linens and towels, shoes and purses, and window treatments. Because we specialize in fully serving the needs of a victim of fire, flood, or vandalism, we are able to give professional attention to the items an everyday dry cleaner cannot adequately process. These items include high monetary and sentimental value items such as wedding gowns, stuffed animals, cornice boards, and tapestries. We fully guarantee our work; therefore, we do not charge for items that are not restorable. With this guarantee in place, cleaning instead of replacement just makes sense.

First, we set aside your “Emergency Order,” clothing that will last you 2-3 weeks. These items will be delivered within 48 hours. We separate these items and take them to our facility for thorough cleaning. Consider all household members, daily needs (school, work, etc.), upcoming events (weddings, church, vacation), whether you need bedding or pillows, and sentimental items, like stuffed animals or dolls, when choosing your Emergency Order. Please contact your project manager if you have any questions.

Next, our team takes a photographic inventory, packs the remaining items, and transports your textiles to our 20,000 sq. ft. dry cleaning and storage facility. There, we complete a detailed inventory, thoroughly sort and clean your textiles, and store them until you are ready for them. The cleaning process typically takes 2-3 weeks, on average.

We are committed 100% to the restoration industry. This is all we do. Caring for families who have suffered a loss is our highest priority.

Virtually every home, large or small, is complete with a large array of electronic equipment, which may include big screen or flat-screen TVs, stereos, DVD players, computers, networks, laptops, phone systems, and office equipment.

When businesses encounter damage due to fire, flood, or smoke, it’s the electronic equipment that requires immediate restoration in order to keep the company on track and not lose business. Just like home electronics, restoration professionals are challenged to clean and restore business equipment in a technical and professional manner, helping to ensure long-term reliability of the equipment.

Most cleaning occurs at your home or business. If the environment and conditions are unsuitable for on-site cleaning, we take a photographic inventory of all your electronics and transport the items to our clean room facility for diagnostics. We also provide full data recovery, if needed and possible.

Time is of the essence

Successful restoration of damaged electronic equipment or systems requires a quick response. That’s why it’s so important to call in the experts right away to evaluate the type and extent of the damage and to plan and implement the appropriate recovery procedures to ensure a successful restoration.

Evaluate, Plan & Restore

Although every situation is unique, there are specific steps that must be followed in order to achieve a successful restoration of electronic equipment or systems that have been damaged by fire, smoke, soot, or water. Electronic restoration is required when corrosion occurs as a result of fire, smoke, and water damage. When electronic items are damaged by water, corrosion begins almost immediately. Fire and smoke damage results in corrosion due to its associated acidic or corrosive residue.

Many kinds of electronic equipment and/or systems can be restored successfully, including:

  • Computers
  • Computer Servers and Network Equipment
  • Telephone Systems
  • Control Centers
  • Office Machines
  • Medical Equipmentg
  • Televisions
  • Home Theatre Components
  • Manufacturing Equipment
  • Laboratory Equipment
  • Printers and Printing Equipment
Evaluate

The first and most important part of the fire restoration process is the damage assessment phase. Our trained professionals know exactly what to look for and will immediately determine the type and extent of damage to your electronic equipment and/or systems. They will identify the equipment by its brand, model number, and serial number, as well as the kind of damage and its severity. They will also determine whether the cost to restore the equipment compares favorably with the cost to replace it. If not, replacement will be recommended. There are many cleaning and restoration processes from which to choose, and properly identifying the exact type of damage and its extent is a crucial first step. It’s essential that the damage assessment be conducted by a trained technician so that the most appropriate treatment will be used in order to achieve the best results.

Plan

Once a determination has been made concerning the type and extent of damage, we’ll select the most appropriate restoration process to ensure a satisfactory result. We use a number of chemical agents and restorative technologies, and determining the most appropriate one for each circumstance is very important.

Restore

The ability to provide reliable restoration of electronic equipment and systems is a relatively new use for some mature technologies. One of those is the use of ultrasonics. Although ultrasonic cleaning has been used in an industrial capacity for years, it is relatively new for fire, smoke, soot, and water damage restoration service businesses. Following years of research and experimentation by ultrasonic manufacturers, this process has evolved to the point that it is now recognized as a reliable restoration process for a wide variety of items that have been damaged by fire, smoke, soot, or water.
